Children's Community Health Services
Bristol and South Gloucestershire Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs), in partnership with local authorities and NHS England, are working together to commission community health services for children and young people.
The services that fall within children’s community services include; health visiting, school nursing, child and adolescent mental health (CAMHS), speech and language therapy (SALT), occupational therapy and physiotherapy, community paediatricians, and a range of dedicated services for vulnerable children including children in care, children with learning disabilities, children with life limiting conditions and children with drug and alcohol problems.
The procurement process began in February 2016 and a contract was awarded on 1 December 2016 and will take effect from 1 April 2017.
Under a separate commissioning process, Leap Valley Surgery has been awarded the contract to provide the Paediatric Primary Care Clinical Support Service for Bristol and South Gloucestershire with effect from 1 April 2017 until 31 March 2022.
Off the Record has been awarded the contract for Counselling and Barnado's has been awarded the contract for Engagement and Participation, both with effect from 1 April 2017 until 31 March 2022.
